Thank you to you all

Hello wonderful crafters,

This is a Thank you card to all of you which I have posted in my docrafts gallery.

I don't often get the chance to thank you all individually for your lovely comments on my cards and the messages that you send to me, so every now and again I would like to give you all a thank you card to show my appreciation for your kind comments.x

Thank you again

Thought I might give it a go.

Happy Birthday

Hello

The sun has been and gone waiting for the rain!!!!

I decided it was time for a change of image so scoured the internet and found this one from here.  I have since edited this image in paint to remove the lines under her chin, every time  I looked at it I thought it looked a bit like a beard.  It does look better with the lines removed.

The papers are from the free papermania CD, the image I coloured with prismas and added a little glitter glue around.  The greeting was also free from the same mag.

Bye for now housework to be done urgh.........

With love to you

Hi folks

Well I have to say I don't know what has happened to me today but this card seemed to take forever and a day, don't know what's going on but I just could not think of a layout or colours for this one.

Never mind it's done lol.

The papers are tea party
I cut a circle with my nesting circle and cut it in half
so it could be seen on both sides and edged it with green ink
The image is from here coloured with prismas and edged with the same green ink.
She does have a little silver glitter on her dress but it's hard to see I think.
My faithful xcut butterfly lol
the sentiment was free with Simply Cards & Papercraft

Well got to go and take my ollie for a walk and I am gonna get soaked boo hoo.

Bye for now

Birthday Wishes

Hi folks

Well I spoke to soon yesterday as the heavens have opened today but there is also some sunshine.

I decided to try my xcut flower dies with felt for this flower it was a bit fiddly as I did have to use the scissors too in some parts, but I think overall it turned out quite well.

The paper was embossed with a me to you folder and the greeting was a verse from my Tulip & Friends CD.

The tag I actually found in my local post office and thought mmmmmmmmm I could use them on my cards.

Bye for now.

Wee stamps

Good morning,

Wooooooooo the sun is shinning (ssshhhh it might go away lol).

I have gone back to wee stamps for a change lol, I did find the hair on this one a little bit more difficult, hair on images has been a weak point for me but I am getting there.

The green polka dot papers were a free download from the Internet (I must remember where I get these from to share).  They were layered onto white card.

The sentiment was part of the wee stamps free set, I did ink the edges with green.

The flowers were made with my xcut flower dies and scored through each petal to give a 3d effect.

Hope the sun is shinning where ever you are and lasts longer than a couple of hours.

Bye for now

Prisma pot holder

I needed a holder for my prismas so decided that after making the Sunday lunch, I could use the empty bisto pot.

I was inspired by Sacha for this task.  I cut the bisto carton in half and covered it with Tulip & Friends paper, then punched a border for around the bottom with a computer generated label.

The top I covered with lace.

Bye for now

Make a Wish

Afternoon folks, well it's overcast here a little drizzle but I'm still waiting for the heaven's to open.

I have decided that I must get on with some ironing lol, I have neglected it so badly (saying that I hate ironing anyway and do try to ignore the huge pile hee hee).

My card today was made using papers from Tulip & Friends CD cut up into triangles and stitched together to form a square.

The image is also from the same CD (it is rather sweet the CD) embossed with polka dots.

The sentiment was computed generated.

I hope your weekend has been good, anyway back to the ironing board lol.

Saturated Canary free digi

Well firstly I have to thank the docrafts members for introducing the beautiful images at Saturated Canary, as soon as I finished this image I fell in love with her, she is soooooooooo sweet.

I was also up at stupid o'clock lol colouring her in, I'm soooooooo sleepy today.

The papers I have used are dovecrafts tea party the image is free to download from here there are also other free digi images on her website.

When I fall in love with a digi image, I tend to make a lot of cards with the same image until I think that it's probably time to move onto another lol.

It's truly my fav at the minute.

I would like to introduce my pal

He is my 4yr old black lab called Ollie.  He is a very good boy however, he does like to pinch socks if he is feeling in a naughty mood and not getting any attention lol.

He is the only one in our house that doesn't answer back lol.  Mind he does like to bark.

Free wee stamp card

Well the weather was miserable this morning and now the sun is beaming hot (what goes on with this weather) no wonder I have a cold sniff sniff....

My card today was made using the free wee stamp, I coloured her with my prisma pencils and took inspiration for colouring her hair from my magazine that the stamp came with.  I'm pretty happy with her hair for once, as I find this the hardest part to colour on all stamps

I layered the card with navy blue card and topped with papers from my stash.

The flowers were made using my flower dies and layered on top of one another with a brad in the middle.

Enjoy the rest of your day I hope this sun stays out a bit longer lol.

Birthday card made with a free stamp

This little cutie was from a free stamp set from papercraft essentials magazine, I searched high and low knowing that they were hiding behind old magazines in my local supermarket, they can't hide freebies from me lol.

To start off I topped the card with black card and peach card and some patterned papers found in my stash.

I coloured the image with prismas and coloured white organza ribbon, with an orange promarker (good tip).  I also coloured the butterfly with the same promarker.

The flowers are a new set of Xcut dies which I couldn't wait to try out, I must say I do like them.  I embossed random flowers with an embossing folder and glued a button in the centre.

The greeting is also part of the free stamp set.

Hope you like it.

White on White try

Good morning

Well it's absolutely pouring down here, looks like I'll just have to stay in and make cards lol,

I've seen so many white on white cards in the docrafts gallery so decided I would try it for myself, it was a little strange not having the usual colours but here it is.

I embossed a square piece of white card with polka dots then hand cut flowers and embossed them too with a flower folder.  I curled the edges of the flowers and placed a gem in the centre of each flower.  A small amount of glitter glue  was applied randomly.

The sentiment was computer generated and then cut with a nesting die from Xcut.  I then applied this to the card with foam pads to give a 3d effect.
An organza bow sits on the corner of the sentiment. My faithful butterfly sits on the right side.

Happy Birthday to you

Todays card was made with a paper from a free craft CD I have from Docrafts.  A punched edge was applied to the left side and the shape along the top was what was left from the punched edge applied with foam pads.

I printed the fence from a free template from Docrafts and painstakingly cut it out.  Of course what would my cards be without my loyal butterfly punch lol.

I punched some leaves and flowers of different sizes and layered them on top of one another sticking a small gem in the centre.

My sign was made using a cocktail stick and I stamped the greeting onto white paper and cut out a triangle shape.

The image was coloured with prismas and is from  here.  I did ink some of the embellishments with brown ink.

Bratz birthday card

This card was made using a free Bratz image which can be found here Here.  I coloured her with prismas.  Her pants were originally brown but something did not look quite right so I printed the image again on plain green paper and only cutting out the pants layered them on top.

I'm not to happy with her hair, but that is something I need lots of practice with.  The green polka dot paper was also free from a card making magazine, the floral punched edge was made using my Xcut multi floral punch.

The sentiment was computer generated.

Birthday card and post it note holder

The card was made using 135mm x 135mm white square card blank.  I then topped it with free papers and a hand coloured image using prismas,

The image is a digi download from Tiddlyinks $3.00. You do get the fairy image and a greeting.

Flowers and leaves were punched with docrafts papermania punches.  Small light green gems were glued in the centre.

And oh of course my favourite butterfly punch by Xcut.

The note pad was made with 3 different size Xcut nesting dies.  The sign was computer generated.

Birthday card and a nearly matching post it note holder

Well this is my first post and have to tell you I was inspired by justforyoupapercrafts who is an inspiration with her crafty makes.

Ok then...My first post is my handmade birthday card and post it note holder.

I layered the card using sturdy grey card topped with a freebie of pink polka dot paper cut out using Xcut Nesting Dies.  I then created an organza bow to the corner and embellished it with punched leaves and flowers.

The post it note holder was created using the same grey card and the two shapes cut with again the Xcut Nesting Dies topped with more free paper and punched flowers.

Once I get the hang of blogging, I will add a little more detail regarding sizes etc. x
